Freebies and A Giveaway: Celebrating Primary Peach’s Launch Party
Blogging is about sharing ideas. When I blog I hope that my words and ideas will brighten someone’s day, spark an idea, or inspire someone. I am often inspired by other bloggers and I love the opportunities for collaboration that blogging has created. That’s why I am so excited about a new blogging adventure with other teacher-bloggers from all over Georgia.
We are launching our new collaborative blog, The Primary Peach, and kicking it off with a bang. We’re celebrating with a freebie hop and giveaway! Check out all of our blogs and get an awesome collection of END OF THE YEAR FREEBIES that are sure to help you wrap up the year in style! Let’s get this party started with some introductions.
I’m April. Children are my passion. I’ve always known that I wanted to work with children. Well, at least for as long as I can remember. Nearly every job I’ve had has been with children. My first job was as the arts and crafts chief for a summer day camp at the YMCA. I’ve taught children from kindergarten through 7th grade and worked as both a special education teacher and a general education teacher. I was a classroom teacher for a decade before deciding to home school my own two darling daughters.
One of the fun things about the end of the year is remembering all the good times from the year. The end of the year freebie that I am sharing focuses on the good things the kids have learned about each other during the year. Just print it off and give each child a copy. They walk around and find someone to sign each box. I love it because it encourages the kids to compliment their classmates and it’s as low prep as it gets. Love that! You can download it here.
As part of our launch party we are holding a giveaway for a gift certificate to Teachers Pay Teachers over at The Primary Peach. Don’t forget to enter before heading over to the next blog in the hop, Shannon , to grab her Memorial Day freebie.
